Electrolysis is effective on every skin shade and every hair color including black, brown, blonde, white, gray, red, clear, etc. Unlike laser hair reduction which is best for an individual with fair skin and dark hairs. Laser is not ideal for anyone darker than fair skin but electrolysis offers hair removal for every ethnicity including Asian, African-American, Mediterranean, Indian, etc.
Every person is different and one individual may be prone to scarring, hyperpigmentation, or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and these concerns should be discussed with your electrologist.
